This week, from the 8th to the 13th of August, 100 youth leaders, academics and experts from some 50 countries around the world will take part in the 13th edition of Transparency International School on Integrity. The largest event of its kind in the world, the School has gathered more than 1600 people interested in anti-corruption and transparency throughout the last twelve years. This year the School is held virtually.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the six-day-long School, young people will attend intensive anti-corruption training in which they will learn more about the causes and different faces of corruption. Together with lecturers, they will discuss ways to increase the level of transparency as well as curb corruption in their daily lives. The School will focus on developing practical skills, sharing experience, discussing the newest anti-corruption trends and creative ways to help anti-corruption champions create change\u00a0 in their respective communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants will spend the week learning from well-established anti-corruption and transparency experts from countries such as <\/span>Argentina, Colombia, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The School is organized by Transparency International Lithuania in cooperation with Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taiwan Foundation for Democracy contributed to the organization of the School this year.<\/span><\/p>\n
