“Every year each of us suffer a loss of a couple thousand EUR due to political corruption,” says Sergėjus Muravjovas on Lithuanian National Radio and Television’s (LRT) radio talk-show “Aktualijų studija”. According to him, the example of the Lithuanian police reform shows that small-scale corruption can be significantly decreased, so it would be beneficial, if other institutions would also take it upon themselves to clear up their sector, especially the healthcare sector.
