While commenting on the Presidents suggestion to stiffen penalties for corruption realted crimes, TILS member Sergejus Muravjovas said to LRT radio that authorities should pay more attention to corruption in the private sector. According to him, business owners rarely face any real consequenses for their actions, he also added that bribery in the healthcare sector is, first of all, an issue of „good governance“.
